What is a Starknet HH Mentor
Mentors play a crucial role in the Starknet HH Culture, they are leaders of the Hacker House and are deeply integrated into the Hacker House experience.
They will be there the entire duration of the event and will be working closely with the attendees.
Mentors will score and judge the participants and determine which projects make it through to the end.
What is the Starknet Hacker House?
- Hacker Houses are a maturation point for developers and teams within Starknet.
- Their purposes are two fold:
- It’s a method for the Foundation to identify good teams that deserve more support; and
- New teams have a chance to win funding and have opportunities to present their product in front of a larger audience
- New teams can use Hacker Houses as an established route to become a serious team within the ecosystem.
- Winners of the Hacker House win funding to continue building their project and are also invited to the final Hacker House of the year at DevCon where they will have a chance to win venture funding and more from the Foundation.
What are the benefits of being a Mentor?
- Fully covered accommodation and food during the Hacker House.
- Networking: Connect with a curated group of hackers and other mentors.
- Free tickets for all Starknet Events at ETHDenver (mixer, etc.)
- Tutor the next generation of the Starknet Ecosystem
- If you do well you will be invited to mentor at future Hacker Houses
What are the responsibilities of being a Mentor?
<aside>
❗ Mentors are expected to stay the entire duration at the Hacker House. Be available to answer any questions from their teams. And do two mandatory check-ins per day to score their teams. This is a non-negotiable commitment.
