With Basecamp turning 2 years old, we have more ambitious goals for 2025 that are described below along with its progress over time.
Each Basecamp course organized by the community or the SNF is known as a cohort. The region “Global” applies only to cohorts directly organized by the SNF.
Anyone who shows up to the first session of a Basecamp is considered a student even if they don’t finish the course.
Every cohort has requirements for graduation that might include attendance, quizzes and homework.

After each cohort ends, we review each session and provide a score from 1 to 10 along with notes of what worked well and what can be improved following the Basecamp Assessment guideline.

Because we provide grants to help the community organize a Basecamp cohort, we also measure the effectiveness of each one by dividing the amount of the grant by the number of graduates.
